Work Environment\n

The position is structured for remote work, enabling flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a collaborative and engaging team environment. Our mental health therapists typically operate during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to meet patient demands. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s developmental stage and family situation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during critical mental health incidents involving young individuals.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential patient records in sync with legal and ethical requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is essential.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience working with child and adolescent populations is preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and family therapy to young patients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable utilizing various computer applications for documentation and communication.

• Ability to work harmoniously as a key member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is expected, candidates with additional experience in school-based mental health settings or family therapy will be highly regarded. Demonstrated effectiveness in engaging children and adolescents, as well as working collaboratively with parents and caregivers, is crucial for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
