Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and sensitive to the specific needs and preferences of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring a tailored approach to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them on their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The diverse patient population ranges from adolescents facing the challenges of mental health during their developmental years to adults navigating the complexities of mood disorders in various life stages. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker – R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential for success in this role.

• Strong communication skills to establish rapport and effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology is important to collaborate efficiently with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
