Work Environment\n

The ideal candidate will work remotely within a community health clinic framework. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients. This setting allows for a collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals and an emphasis on teamwork, while maintaining significant independence in daily clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather information about clients' history and current mental health states, which inform tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and reflect the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients, enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of therapy.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, promoting resilience and overall well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and additional health professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care, addressing all aspects of the client's mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, utilizing strong assessment and problem-solving skills to offer immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and pathways to recovery, including available community resources that can supplement their well-being.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, upholding all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to enhance cultural competency and therapeutic skills.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, with a strong commitment to cultural competency.

• Experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy using inclusive and culturally responsive approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
