Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider cultural, social, and personal factors in order to develop custom treatment plans for clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting your techniques to suit the individual needs and backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, thereby promoting emotional strength and personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive well-rounded and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, assessing situations and offering immediate support or referrals as necessary.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available resources in the community to enhance understanding and participation in care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, effectively utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid mental health license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) in the state of Florida is required.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, particularly those that focus on cultural competence.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
