Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and growth.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to effectively address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship problems.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care coordination and to address any additional needs related to housing, employment, or social support.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services, employing your expertise and empathy to assist clients experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies, ultimately ensuring their safety and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active independent licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.

• Strong cultural competence, with the ability to assess and respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.
\n
• Robust organizational and time-management skills, ensuring diligent and accurate documentation and follow-through on treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a clinical setting that serves diverse communities. Experience in community health or a similar environment is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health records systems, enhancing our workflow efficiency.
