Work Environment\n

At Haña Health and Wellness Clinic, we value flexibility and adaptability in our work environment. Our remote setting allows you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while being part of a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ needs and formulating individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help patients address common mental health issues and build community support networks.

• Collaborating with team members to coordinate holistic patient care, ensuring that all aspects of an individual's mental health needs are addressed.

• Providing crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, aiding patients in distress, and ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Educating patients about mental health conditions, therapy options, and community resources available to support their recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through case consultations, educational workshops, and staying informed about the latest research in mental health therapy.

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will involve working with patients from different backgrounds, ensuring that all are met with respect, sensitivity, and tailored approaches that address their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; while a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with sound ethical judgment.

Preferred Experience\n
