Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique mental health challenges and aspirations, creating tailored mindfulness practices to suit their individual needs.

• Guide clients through a variety of mindfulness exercises, including meditation, breathing techniques, and self-reflection activities aimed at enhancing emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Facilitate engaging virtual group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and building resilience, creating a supportive community for participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, to support client growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness practices into the broader care plan for clients.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, interventions, and treatment plans within our electronic health record system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

• Commit to ongoing personal and professional development, engaging in regular mindfulness practice and participating in training opportunities to enhance expertise in MBSR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a diverse client population, including individuals facing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. By focusing on mindfulness, you will help clients develop practical coping strategies to manage their stressors effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• Proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions, with a preference for candidates who have training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to create a calming and supportive environment for clients through effective dialogue and listening.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a mental health setting delivering therapy via telehealth platforms is preferred to facilitate effective remote counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
