Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess and evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients through comprehensive interviews and assessments.

• Collaboratively design personalized treatment plans that align with the individual client’s needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective mental health treatment.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies and plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and contribute to team meetings to share insights and collaborate on clinical approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who are navigating mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
