Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based practices and cultural competence.

• Carry out individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies.

• Document clinical and progress notes accurately and promptly in accordance with departmental policies to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive treatment plans that address physical, emotional, and social factors.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and strategies to de-escalate emotional and behavioral issues.

• Communicate effectively with clients’ families and support systems regarding treatment progress and discharge planning to ensure robust support beyond therapy.

Qualifications\n
