Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health, utilizing structured methodologies to inform treatment decisions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs, ensuring the application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing both face-to-face and teletherapy options to accommodate client preferences and needs.

• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients, and consistently monitor and adjust treatment strategies based on progress and evolving needs.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans thoroughly and timely, maintaining adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in mental health practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and webinars, to continually enhance clinical competencies and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Life Mend, you will support a diverse client population facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our clients range from children to adults, and you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and trusting environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions, leading to effective healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in the state of Georgia as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trustworthy relationships with clients.

• A compassionate demeanor and a non-judgmental attitude that fosters an inviting and supportive therapeutic space.

• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience delivering services in both in-person and virtual formats.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
