Crystal Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed psychiatric practice based in Lacey, Washington. This full-time position allows you to work remotely within our outpatient clinical setting. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing mental health care specifically for individuals battling mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues.

Work Environment\n

This remote role offers the flexibility of working from your own space while being part of a dynamic outpatient office dedicated to mental health. Although the majority of sessions will be conducted virtually, the opportunity exists for occasional in-person meetings at our Lacey office. Work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility for scheduled evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders, employing validated screening tools as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and objectives, ensuring that they have a central role in their recovery process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat mood disorders, facilitating clients' journey towards improved mental health.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them to make informed decisions about their mental health.
\n
• Systematically monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving goals and challenges.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide holistic and integrated care solutions for our clients.

• Stay informed about ongoing research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance personal competencies and inform therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and sustainable documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to refine clinical skills and remain abreast of best practices in the management of mood disorders.

• Serve as an advocate for mental health, working to reduce the stigma around mood disorders and supporting clients in articulating their mental health needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients experiencing mood disorders. This group often presents complex challenges requiring a nuanced understanding of their lived experiences, strengths, and vulnerabilities. Your ability to engage with a diverse range of clients will be essential in providing them with the compassionate and targeted care they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Retired status (LCSW-R), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington is essential.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is strongly preferred.
\n
• Profound expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize treatment.
\n
• Proven track record of successful outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders and the ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Experience within a multi-disciplinary team setting in an outpatient environment.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
