Key Responsibilities\n

The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for a diverse array of essential tasks, including:

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with various mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance abuse.

• Maintaining a manageable caseload of adults and adolescents, ensuring each client receives the attention and care necessary for their recovery.

• Attending all scheduled professional meetings, including clinical supervision and staff meetings, fostering teamwork and sharing best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population consisting of adults and adolescents wrestling with various mental health challenges. You will be a crucial support system for clients facing substance abuse issues, mood disorders, trauma, and life adjustment difficulties. You will leverage your knowledge of local resources and community services to connect clients with the right support networks.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possess one of the following licenses: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Have no documented history of Medical Malpractice Claims, validated through third-party verification.
\n
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be given priority:

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
