Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ needs and challenges.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices tailored to individual client situations.

• Facilitating support groups and educational sessions that empower patients and their families to navigate mental health challenges.

• Integrating the latest research and advancements in mental health treatments into your practice to enhance client care.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach in addressing patients' health issues.

• Upholding confidentiality and following all ethical guidelines and standards within the therapeutic context.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to refine therapeutic skills and approaches, including attending workshops and trainings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on patients dealing with the emotional and psychological aspects of cancer care. This includes working with individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis, managing ongoing treatment or recurrence, and addressing end-of-life concerns. Your expertise will help these patients cope with the various emotional, social, and psychological challenges they encounter throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
