Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ascertain the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorders, tailoring interventions accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with clients in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that resonate with their personal experiences and objectives.

• Employ specified therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.

• Provide ongoing education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, promoting understanding and proactive involvement in treatment.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations and feedback, ensuring responsiveness to individual needs.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to facilitate comprehensive and coordinated care strategies.

• Stay informed about advancements in mental health practices related to mood disorders through regular professional development and training.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case consultations and internal meetings to discuss treatment outcomes and explore best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, fostering destigmatization of mental health issues and highlighting the importance of self-care and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily center around supporting adults and adolescents experiencing mood disorders. You will develop therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds, addressing their unique challenges and promoting resilience and recovery through individualized care plans.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Proficiency in employing evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly in relation to mood disorders.
\n
• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology and the ability to engage effectively with psychiatrists when coordinating care.

• A demonstrated record of successfully guiding clients through treatment for mood-related conditions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that allow for the creation of a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within community health settings or outpatient programs focused on mood disorders.

• Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as EMDR or mindfulness-based therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
