Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to understand each child's and adolescent's specific needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by considering developmental stages, peer relationships, family dynamics, and cultural contexts.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to address various issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers in creating a supportive and responsive home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care that aligns with each patient's overall treatment goals.

• Offer crisis intervention when necessary and respond promptly to mental health emergencies involving children and families.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment methods, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and best practices in record-keeping.

• Actively engage in team discussions, case reviews, and professional development initiatives to continuously improve therapeutic skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in child and adolescent mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Our patient population includes young individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, and more. Your goal will be to create a safe and trusting relationship that facilitates healing and personal growth, tailored to the unique needs of each young person.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is necessary.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families is essential.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective advocacy and support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, tailored to reflect your qualifications and experience.
