Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms related to mood disorders, understanding their severity and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to devise individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), providing structured interventions to support client recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care techniques, promoting understanding and empowerment.

• Monitor client progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients, streamlining communication across disciplines.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in clinical settings, alongside a strong focus on mood disorder treatment methods.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology and comfortability in collaborating with medical professionals within an integrated healthcare framework.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to and establish rapport with a diverse population of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
