Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to gauge the severity and impact of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are aligned with the specific needs and goals of each client, incorporating both their personal preferences and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions for clients dealing with mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, providing resources and strategies for self-care that promote mental health and resilience.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client care, enhancing clinical outcomes through multidisciplinary coordination.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain informed about the latest treatment methodologies and mental health best practices.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work to de-stigmatize mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse client population, particularly those facing challenges related to mood disorders. You will engage with clients across various backgrounds, including those from underserved communities, offering support and tailored interventions to foster recovery and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• Strong foundation in ethical practice and an understanding of the legal requirements for mental health service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with demonstrable success in applying these methods.

• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of mental health complexities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
