This full-time remote position caters to the diverse mental health needs of young individuals aged 6 to 18 and involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

Work Environment\n

This role operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our clinicians maintain a strong connection with patients. As part of a community health clinic, you will benefit from a supportive network where collaboration and shared knowledge is paramount. Our structured workweek spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate our patients’ needs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and diagnose issues in children and adolescents, tailoring your approach to their developmental needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies, psychoeducation, and therapeutic techniques to effectively address mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that aim to strengthen familial bonds and equip caregivers with strategies to foster a supportive environment for their children.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach, sharing insights and recommendations to optimize patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them throughout the treatment journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health, integrating findings into therapeutic strategies.

This position is primarily focused on children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a child-centered approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and a solid understanding of digital tools to enhance therapeutic practices.

• A commitment to collaboration and a willingness to engage as a vital part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum two years of post-licensure experience in delivering individual and family therapy, preferably in a clinical setting focused on youth.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities specific to children and adolescents.

• A background in crisis intervention and managing mental health emergencies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this rewarding position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
