This role operates within a supportive telehealth environment, enabling therapists to connect with patients from the comfort of their own homes. Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering occasional evening shifts when necessary to accommodate patient schedules. This setup allows our practitioners to maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively serving our clients with necessary flexibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to accurately identify their needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide effective interventions that address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in fostering supportive environments for their children's growth and recovery.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to families during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, possible treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance skills and share knowledge.

• Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our practice is dedicated to addressing a spectrum of issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral conditions. This position requires an individual who is adept at connecting with young clients and providing respectful, empathetic care, fostering a safe space for vulnerability and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license to practice in New York State, such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or similar credentials.

• A commitment to understanding the complexities of child and adolescent mental health issues.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on building trust and rapport with young clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
