Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to create a productive workspace that suits your needs. Our outpatient office facilitates occasional in-person meetings and collaborative sessions, ensuring that you remain connected with your colleagues. You will work primarily during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans by considering each patient's unique developmental stage and familial context.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy to treat a range of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to establish supportive home environments.

• Coordinate and collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to guarantee integrated care for complex cases.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to promptly address mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options available, and local community resources that may assist in their journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development endeavors to continually hone your clinical skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and innovations in child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance your therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be children and adolescents grappling with various mental health challenges—including but not limited to anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and emotional or behavioral disorders. You will utilize a compassionate, child-centered approach to establish trust and rapport with young clients and their families, creating a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence in the mental health field.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity in evidence-based treatment practices.

• Proven ability to deliver individual and familial therapy to young clients, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
