Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents in a telehealth setting, effectively evaluating their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while considering family dynamics and developmental stages.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions utilizing online platforms for individual therapy sessions and family therapy, adapting techniques to engage patients effectively in a virtual environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and additional healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our young clients.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and best practices to enhance overall care quality.

• Educate families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them in their journey of support for their young ones.

• Manage crises effectively, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies through virtual consultations.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay current with research, treatments, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a myriad of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. By creating a supportive and nurturing therapeutic environment, you will play a vital role in helping these young individuals navigate their challenges and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York is required.
\n
• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, including knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
\n
• A compassionate approach to therapy, focusing on creating empowering and trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services to children and adolescents is preferred.

• Experience facilitating both individual and family therapy sessions in a telehealth environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
