This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver mental health services via telehealth. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and craft individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to facilitate healing and growth.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, responding promptly to clients in distress and effectively managing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment in compliance with confidentiality regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Actively engage in continuous professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and relevant training opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in mental health practice, adopting innovative strategies and therapies where applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Biomedica, our patient population is diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial or relational issues, tailoring your approach to cater to their specific backgrounds and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Proven expertise in mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities is essential.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly favorable, enabling effective interaction and engagement with clients remotely.

• Clinical experience with specific populations, such as children or individuals recovering from substance abuse, is a plus.

• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational programs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
