This opportunity allows for a remote work setting, promoting flexibility while working within a cohesive outpatient office team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, evaluating their emotional and developmental needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific mental health challenges faced by each young client, considering family dynamics and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, providing both individual and family therapy to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to foster a nurturing environment that supports the mental health of their children.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and treatment plans.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving youth, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources tailored to support their ongoing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position centers around providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents who may be struggling with an array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and more. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a child-centered approach, establishing rapport with young clients and their families, ensuring they feel understood and valued throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid clinical license in Washington State as either an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy targeted at younger populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, coupled with a compassionate demeanor toward both children and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
