Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote telehealth setup, allowing you to provide quality mental health care from the comfort of your home. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the developmental stage and family dynamics of each young patient.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy, tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your expertise will help in creating tailored treatment plans that promote mental wellness and resilience among young individuals, thus contributing to their overall development and thriving in their communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders specific to children and adolescents, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with young patients and their families, fostering an open and therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
