Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments for new patients and their families, utilizing a comprehensive approach to understand their unique situations and challenges.

• Provide individual and family therapy based on the specific needs identified during assessments, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide treatment.

• Maintain thorough documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and organizational requirements.

• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies tailored to each client, effectively contributing to their overall wellness and stability.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans to support clients transitioning out of therapy or into other care settings.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws and NEHS policies, ensuring ethical and professional standards are met at all times.

• Engage in continuous professional development through mandatory training and continuing education to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

• Participate in case consultation meetings and agency discussions to enhance service delivery and share expertise with colleagues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that satisfies licensure requirements.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in community health settings or with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be highly valued. Previous work with multidisciplinary teams and integration of holistic treatment approaches will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
