Your role will be entirely remote, allowing for the flexibility necessary to accommodate the varying schedules of our clients. Regular team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions will enhance your professional growth and development. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts dependent on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that accommodate developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver therapeutic interventions addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, ensuring effective monitoring of patient progress.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools to support their child’s mental health journey.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective responses to challenging situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources tailored to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain confidential and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in ongoing professional development activities and stay updated on best practices and advances in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a young demographic, ranging from children to adolescents, who are experiencing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with families to cultivate positive and supportive environments that encourage mental well-being and resilience. This patient-centered approach not only addresses the individual needs of each young person but also educates families, empowering them to be effective support systems.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health challenges, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic strategies.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy tailored to the needs of young individuals.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach that builds rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline clinical documentation and communication.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing positively to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
