Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from the comfort of your own home. Our team operates within a supportive, collaborative environment where mental health professionals share insights and strategies to optimize patient care. Although the working hours are primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents, gathering and interpreting relevant information from multiple sources such as parents and teachers.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that take into account a client’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address various mental health issues, ensuring a client-centered approach to therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at nurturing and supporting the entire family unit, enhancing their ability to create a positive environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and coordinated response to each patient's mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support for children and adolescents in acute mental health distress.
\n
• Educate families on mental health conditions, treatment frameworks, and available community resources to foster better understanding and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of therapeutic sessions and care interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in the fields of child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve therapy approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. This can include anything from dealing with anxiety and depression to managing ADHD symptoms and behavioral issues. Your work will directly impact their mental well-being, helping them through difficult times while promoting resilience and healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices.

• Proven experience providing both individual and family therapy geared towards young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a genuine, child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in technology-based counseling tools.

• A team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and educational background. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus upon joining the team.
