Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs. Develop customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual circumstances.

• Provide therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy, employing various methodologies to effectively address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Partner actively with case managers and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care and coordination among team members, providing a seamless support system for our clients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention, demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and empathy in high-stress environments.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness, engaging with the community to diminish stigma and enhance understanding of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role is vital in ensuring that we provide inclusive care, respecting each client’s unique experiences and needs. Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and independent license in California, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Education should include a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships that foster client trust and engagement.

• Exhibit a high level of cultural competence and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, enhancing the quality of care you provide.

• Show strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes to meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While we are open to candidates at various stages of their careers, experience in community mental health settings and background in crisis intervention are highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and previous engagement in multidisciplinary team settings can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 a year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
