Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations from initial contact through treatment completion, carefully documenting client progress.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups to address a diverse range of mental, behavioral, and emotional issues.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based techniques tailored to client needs.

• Monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective recovery.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention strategies.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients who may need hospitalization, maintaining a network of communication for optimal patient care.

• Identify behaviors that may hamper recovery and work with clients and their families to establish strategies for effective management and intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults facing a range of mental health hardships. You will support individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental disorders by providing compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in electronic healthcare record systems such as AVATAR, enabling streamlined documentation and client management.

• Strong understanding of physical and emotional health conditions, including co-occurring addiction disorders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, fostering meaningful connections with clients and colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal skills, underpinning a sympathetic approach to all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work experience as a mental health counselor, ideally within a community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, with additional incentives such as a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our team.
