Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for new clients, documenting findings from initial assessments to treatment completion.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of each client, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to foster insight and promote recovery.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to ensure effective outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing professionals, to create integrated treatment strategies.

• Provide necessary referrals to additional services and resources as needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, promoting a holistic approach to client care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities and empathy for clients' experiences.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychotherapy principles and best practices as recognized by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to facilitate accurate documentation and communication.

• Experience with dual diagnosis clients, addressing co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.

• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
