Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that you remain an integral part of our outpatient office's dynamic team. Our remote work setting empowers you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still engaging fully with your colleagues and clients through virtual consultations and team meetings. You will typically work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents seeking therapy.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to provide education and support to parents and caregivers, helping them foster a nurturing home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving our young clients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to support recovery and resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Stay abreast of current research, emerging trends, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to optimize treatment outcomes.

Client Focus / Patient Population\n

This role focuses predominantly on children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, encompassing various psychological conditions such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, developmental disorders, and situational behavioral issues. Our therapists engage with families to create a supportive network around youth, ensuring holistic care that addresses mental, emotional, and social dimensions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic context.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders along with familiarity in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to young clients in a compassionate, culturally sensitive manner.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfort with digital tools for effective therapy delivery.

• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
