Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs of children and adolescents, tailoring your evaluation methods to various developmental stages.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with families and utilizing evidence-based practices to foster positive behavioral changes.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, ensuring strategies are appropriate for the ages and needs of the clients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to promote structured communication, helping caregivers create supportive environments for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists to ensure a coordinated and cohesive treatment approach, including medication management when needed.

• Provide crisis intervention in high-pressure situations, reassuring and guiding families through mental health emergencies.

• Deliver psycho-education to patients and families, informing them about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and accessing community resources.

• Maintain accurate and lavishly protected documentation through our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to legal and ethical standards to safeguard client confidentiality.

• Actively participate in team huddles and case consultations to improve treatment outcomes and share insights into evolving best practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research in child and adolescent mental health to continually enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly focuses on children and adolescents grappling with a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving their emotional resilience, social skills, and overall mental health outcomes, ultimately paving the way for healthier futures.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Texas, reflecting compliance with state regulations and standards.

• A solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, backed by proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Demonstrated experience providing both individual and family therapy to youth, with a compassionate, engaging, and child-centered therapeutic approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to forge trustful relationships with clients and families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, focusing on children and adolescents is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to performance-based bonuses.
