Tranquil Talk Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a focus on child and adolescent populations. This full-time position, based remotely but connected to our outpatient office in Plano, Texas, will involve working closely with young patients and their families to deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes.

Work Environment\n

This role offers a flexible remote setting, allowing you to engage with clients through virtual platforms while still maintaining close ties with our outpatient office. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each child and adolescent.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's developmental stage and specific circumstances, in collaboration with their family.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Engage in family therapy sessions that empower caregivers with tools and strategies to support their children's mental health.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a well-coordinated and holistic approach to treatment.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients facing acute mental health challenges.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position targets a diverse array of young clients ranging from early childhood to late adolescence, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. Through therapeutic techniques, you will play a critical role in fostering resilience and enhancing their coping mechanisms, substantially impacting their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A profound understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity in applying evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and family therapy to younger populations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate, child-focused approach.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
