Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and devise appropriate treatment pathways tailored to individual needs.

• Develop, implement, and manage customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver quality care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver holistic care that integrates medical and psychological support.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies, staying ready to assist clients in times of acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources to equip them for recovery.
\n
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including veterans, domestic abuse survivors, and individuals coping with loss. Through our telehealth model, you will reach a diverse population, many of whom may otherwise face barriers to accessing traditional in-person therapy. Your expertise will help these patients navigate the complexities of their experiences and foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in trauma-informed care and therapy.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure under pressure and effectively manage high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computing applications.

• A collaborative spirit, ready to work within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
