Single Pathway Psychiatry is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mood disorders. This role is vital in ensuring our patients receive quality care tailored to their needs, occupying a key position within our remote community health clinic setting in Plano, Texas.

Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues and clients from the comfort of your own space while still being actively engaged in a supportive community. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential for occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, considering factors such as severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their specific goals and addressing individual preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address the nuances of mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-care techniques that empower them in their mental health journey.

• Continuously monitor and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and cohesive mental health care.

• Remain informed of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, integrating new insights into your therapeutic practice.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge in the area of mood disorders.

• Act as an advocate for your clients, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and advocating for their mental health rights and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will have the opportunity to support diverse populations, helping each client navigate their unique challenges through empathetic and evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice and adherence to confidentiality standards.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in treating mood disorders. Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT and DBT, is highly desirable, alongside a foundation in psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
