Work Environment\n

This position is based in an outpatient office setting that allows for flexibility through remote work. While the core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics, ensuring personalized care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, enabling parents and caregivers to create a nurturing and supportive home environment for their children.

• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support children and adolescents during acute mental health episodes, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to robust patient records and organizational integrity.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in the field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Proficient understanding of childhood mental health disorders and effective therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong child-centered approach.
\n
• A proven ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and families is essential.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work cohesively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those focused on child and adolescent populations.

• Knowledge of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities applied in clinical practice.

• Prior participation in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
