Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and interviews, documenting each client's journey from the initial consultation through to the completion of their treatment plan.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify their needs and present challenges.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans that address the unique requirements of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and growth.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment duration, adjusting plans as necessary based on observed outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to implement holistic intervention strategies.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care during their recovery process.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, providing proactive strategies to help clients maintain their mental well-being.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by offering guidance on how to manage mental health challenges within the family dynamic.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective patient management and documentation.

• Strong understanding of the interplay between physical health conditions, emotional health, and addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of the impact of psychotropic medications prescribed by healthcare professionals, supporting integrated client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000, with the addition of a sign-on bonus.
