Vitality Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our exceptional Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team. Work Environment\n

This role operates within a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively while ensuring that you meet the needs of your clients. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts when required to accommodate patient needs. You will primarily work from home while maintaining a collaborative connection with your colleagues via virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that take into account each patient's developmental stage, family dynamics, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to provide effective counseling and support, addressing various mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, assisting them in creating nurturing home environments that promote emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with our experienced child psychiatrists and a range of other professionals to coordinate care and support for young patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services when crises arise, ensuring the safety and emotional stability of children and adolescents during critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, introduce them to treatment options, and connect them with community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay current with best practices, cutting-edge research, and innovations within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to ADHD and behavioral disorders. You will provide personalized care that addresses each patient's unique needs and circumstances, making significant contributions to their emotional and psychological growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches tailored to young individuals.

• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, showcasing a compassionate and patient-centered approach.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to establish rapport and trust with both patients and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit with a commitment to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in family therapy and crisis intervention will be viewed favorably. Experience in a community health setting, particularly working with diverse populations, is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
