The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, with potential bonuses and a sign-on bonus included.

Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while ensuring a professional and supportive environment. Your work will be facilitated through telehealth platforms, which have been developed to ensure accessibility and effectiveness in addressing the needs of our clients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs, providing flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and social needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each young client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Deliver family therapy sessions that equip parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing and supportive home environment.
\n
• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care and comprehensive support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. Our focus is not only on the individuals but also on their families, recognizing that holistic treatment involves engaging and educating all parties involved in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapies.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, preferably in a remote setting.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate, child-centered approach.
\n
• Adept at building rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other telehealth technology.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a comparable therapeutic setting, ideally focusing on child and adolescent mental health.

• Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and digital mental health resources.
