Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to understand each client's unique needs.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and cultural background, tailoring interventions specifically to their circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) across various formats such as individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, working closely with other healthcare professionals to promote seamless continuity of care for patients facing acute mental health challenges.

• Maintain precise clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to clinic protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure accountability and transparency.

• Deliver psychoeducation sessions to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to manage their mental health conditions effectively.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive and individualized care for patients.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Remain informed about developments in mental health research, utilizing best practices and new methodologies to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing therapy to a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish constructive therapeutic relationships with patients from various cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The position offers an annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
