Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to establish client needs and treatment goals.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific challenges, cultural backgrounds, and aspirations, ensuring that therapy is client-centered and personalized.

• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), delivered in various formats such as one-on-one, couples, and group therapy.

• Offer timely crisis intervention services and work alongside other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients in acute distress, prioritizing their safety and recovery.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

• Empower clients and their families by providing psychoeducation that equips them with the tools necessary to navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic care for clients, promoting integrated and continuous treatment.

• Engage in regular outcome assessments to evaluate therapy effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as required based on client feedback and clinical judgment.

• Stay abreast of current research and developments in psychology, incorporating best practices into therapy approaches to enhance client outcomes.

• Uphold ethical standards by ensuring confidentiality and the appropriate handling of sensitive client information at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in New York, signifying your expertise and commitment to professional standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
