Our outpatient office remains an integral part of our operations, serving as a collaborative hub for team meetings, training, and patient-focused activities as required. Enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to develop a comprehensive understanding of patients' trauma histories.

• Create personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during acute trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to enhance their understanding and coping strategies.

• Maintain high standards of documentation to comply with ethical and legal requirements.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The patients in our care vary in age and backgrounds, offering diverse challenges and rewarding outcomes. Your expertise will play a significant role in their recovery and mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in the mental health field, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders along with proven ability in utilizing evidence-based treatments.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to create a compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
