Work Environment\n

As a remote outpatient provider, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a location that suits your needs while ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to your clients. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to determine their therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages of each client along with family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and family therapy sessions to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic treatment plans.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, helping families navigate challenging situations.

• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as per legal requirements and ethical standards, ensuring proper record-keeping of all client interactions.

• Actively participate in clinical team meetings, case presentations, and continuous professional development opportunities.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health treatment to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets children and adolescents struggling with a diverse range of mental health challenges. Your focus will be on providing targeted support to improve emotional and psychological well-being among youth, thus helping them to thrive academically and socially. You'll work to build trusting relationships with young clients, which is essential for effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders alongside a solid grasp of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapies.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered, compassionate approach.

• Adeptness at utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools to streamline workflow.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively with a diverse interdisciplinary team, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with specialized training in child and adolescent behavioral health, trauma-informed care, or crisis intervention will be favorably considered.

Compensation and Benefits\n
