Our remote telehealth facility provides a modern, technology-driven workspace where therapists can connect with clients via secure digital platforms. You will work a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. The virtual environment encourages flexibility, allowing you to engage with clients in a manner that respects their comfort and privacy while ensuring effective therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the individual’s developmental stage, cultural background, and family circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, to help clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving dynamics and equipping caregivers with effective strategies to support their children’s mental health.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure that treatment plans are comprehensive, coordinated, and responsive to evolving patient needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, providing immediate support and resources to children and families experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collective knowledge and improve service delivery.

• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent mental health care by engaging in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses specifically on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral issues. Our practice emphasizes a family-centered approach, recognizing that the family unit plays a crucial role in the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess an active and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health.

• Demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of mental health disorders affecting youth, along with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate, child-focused therapeutic style.

• Proven ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Comfort and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
