Work Environment\n

As a remote mental health counselor, you will be fully equipped to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. This setting provides flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining the same quality of care and interpersonal connection with clients. The role is primarily office-based, providing services to clients through secured virtual sessions. Your work hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening sessions necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, gathering detailed background information to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with parents or guardians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s developmental stage and family requirements.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers by equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive home environment.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients, participating in regular case consultations to discuss the progress and treatment adjustments.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid their journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred but candidates demonstrating exceptional qualifications may be considered.

• Deep knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside experience with evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a competitive sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
