Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients to gather comprehensive background information and establish a treatment baseline.

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to promote emotional healing and growth.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care for patients requiring multidisciplinary intervention.

• Identify barriers to recovery and implement proactive measures to prevent setbacks in clients' mental health.
\n
• Support families and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges through education and empathetic guidance.
\n
• Attend regular team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving client outcomes and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other behavioral health challenges. Our diverse clientele includes adults and youths from various backgrounds, and our counselors will leverage their expertise to create an inclusive, empowering therapeutic environment. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and compassionately.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for client welfare.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in a remote setting is preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Experience working with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
\n
• Knowledge and experience dealing with dual diagnosis, including underlying physical and emotional health conditions and addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
