Work Environment\n

You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of children and adolescents, employing diagnostic interviews, validated assessment tools, and clinical observations.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions, factoring in developmental stages and family dynamics to promote effective therapy outcomes.

• Provide various therapeutic modalities, including individual and family therapy sessions, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other appropriate treatment strategies tailored to younger clients.

• Engage in family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, providing them with tools and strategies to foster a supportive home environment conducive to their child's healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's therapeutic journey.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies affecting children and adolescents, utilizing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic communication.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge concerning treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment planning and professional growth, sharing insights and collaborating on best practices.

• Stay updated on the latest strategies in child and adolescent psychiatry through ongoing education, research, and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. The therapist will ensure that care is delivered with a child-centered approach, building trust and rapport to facilitate a therapeutic alliance essential for effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and best practices.

• Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services to young clients and familiarity with family systems theory.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a patient-centered focus in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 105,000 per year, coupled with performance-based bonuses.
