This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that suits your personal lifestyle while still ensuring critical mental health services are delivered. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews to identify individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages of each child, as well as family dynamics, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Engage closely with child psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to develop a coordinated treatment approach that aligns with best practices in mental health care.

• Offer crisis intervention services as necessary, providing immediate support and resources in emergency situations involving young clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to facilitate ongoing support.

• Document patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality to adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions to enhance knowledge and treatment methodologies.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be treating children and adolescents who are experiencing a variety of mental health issues. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Engaging with this age group requires not only clinical skills but also a compassionate approach to foster trust and rapport with both the young clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent psychological disorders, along with expertise in evidence-based treatment interventions.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in prior roles.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Ability to establish rapport effectively with children, teenagers, and their families to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in using various computer applications.
