Operating hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones and familial relationships.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring swift support and relief for affected individuals.

• Educate patients and families on mental health topics, available resources, and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consults, contributing insights and receiving feedback to enhance clinical practices.

• Stay up to date with advancements in child psychiatry and therapeutic practices, integrating new knowledge into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. The therapist will work closely not only with the youth but also with their families, ensuring a comprehensive support system that empowers young patients to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
