Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.

• Provide individual therapy and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of patients, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Efficiently complete billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to specified time frames to ensure smooth operational flow.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans, as well as relapse prevention and wellness strategies that support patients' long-term stability and mental health sustainability.
\n
• Establish discharge plans that facilitate effective transitions for patients continuing their mental health journeys outside our practice.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all current federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, ensuring ethical and professional integrity within practice.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional training and continuing education to further enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate with colleagues on treatment strategies and improve overall patient outcomes.

• Complete all mandatory training necessary for licensing and continued practice in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required to ensure comprehensive foundational knowledge.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Georgia is a mandatory requirement.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care may be advantageous. Competence in managing patients with varying degrees of mental health challenges is also preferred.
